Meet the Catering Team 1

Welcome to the Lunch page

Our aim at Inkersall Primary Academy is to deliver exciting menus that provide children with a well balanced meal that meets, or where possible exceeds, the required nutritional standards necessary for good health.

From April through to November we offer a new 3 week cycle incorporating a ‘homemade style’ of cooking using fresh ingredients from our local suppliers.

We supplement the menu daily with fresh bread, a self service salad bar and selection of freshly prepared fruit. We also serve freshly made sandwiches & jacket potatoes with various fillings.

Why not try some of our new, delicious recipes at home.

All catering staff have thorough training in basic food hygiene, safe cooking practices, health & safety, allergy awareness, customer care & nutrition and NVQ's.

If your child has any special dietary requirements, please contact Philippa on the number below to arrange a meeting at your convenience, there is also a link at the bottom of this page for more information which may be useful to you.

If you are interested in joining the relief catering pool, please contact Philippa on 07709 552727

Theme Days

Theme days and promotions are very popular with children as they enjoy trying different dishes from around the world. We hold theme days throughout the school year with the aim of making lunch times a little different and to create more fun in the school meals' service.

Don't miss out on our theme days - come and join in the fun!
